Electioneering

So, it's election day. And I can't vote.

NOT because I'm under age - I've been eighteen for a while - but because I hadn't registered and then realised that I didn't have time before the April 20th deadline in order to register. Having expected some variety of registration form/letter near my birthday, no such article appeared through the post, and it therefore slipped my mind until the impending approach of the General Election.

Thus I'm sat at home now watching all the Facebook statuses of 'Sam Szreter is votalicious' and 'Jasmine Whiteside just voted, for the win!!' pop tauntingly up in my face.

Though I suppose, being in South Cambs, the outlook is bleak anyway. Dayum this bleddy Conservative constituency in which I live...

However, if there's a hung parliament (it's looking somewhat likely) tomorrow, then I may get a chance to vote again soon should another election be held. Or, you know, David Cameron might get into power, and then the world will end. Blar.

Moving on from poliwhats, my date on Wednesday evening went very well... I ended up eating terribly slowly purely because we were chattering so much, and yeah... it was just nice and relaxing. I was rather nervous beforehand, mind you, but dear Judy was about after college and so I spent the lead-up to 5:30 wandering into town with her while she went and bought a new bike.

MATTIPUS.
